CONTEXT
Palm Valley is a residential development designed around apartment living, shared amenities, and controlled access for residents and visitors.
Its environment depends on secure resident movement, organized visitor communication, and reliable entrance management.

Palm Valley required a modern access control and communication solution to support secure, convenient movement within the residential development. As a new installation, the project created an opportunity to deploy a structured system from the outset, allowing resident access, visitor communication, and entrance control to be designed around the needs of the property.

INITIAL STATE

The project was a new installation, meaning there was no existing access control or intercom system to replace. This allowed Riana Group’s USS to plan and implement the solution based on the site layout, resident access needs, and the security expectations of a modern residential environment.

By implementing the solution from the beginning, Palm Valley was positioned to manage visitor entry more efficiently, reduce unauthorized access, and improve the daily experience for residents and visitors.

CLIENT REQUIREMENTS

Enable visitors to call individual apartments from a lobby station.

Allow tenants to receive visitor calls through their mobile apps.

Support automatic access approval or denial by tenants.

■ Improve control over vehicular entrance access.

■ Improve overall access experience for residents and authorized users.

■ Reduce unauthorized access and discourage doorstep intrusion.

Deploy a solution suitable for a new residential installation.

SOLUTION

USS delivered an integrated intercom and access control solution for Palm Valley, combining Fermax intercom devices, GeoVision technology, and Suprema readers to support secure visitor communication, vehicular entrance control, and pedestrian access management.

The project began with a site survey to understand the property layout, entry points, lobby station requirements, and the expected movement of residents, visitors, and vehicles. This allowed the implementation team to define the right installation points and configure the system to match Palm Valley’s operational requirements.

The intercom system enables visitors to initiate calls from the lobby station directly to individual apartments. Tenants can receive these calls through their mobile apps and decide whether to grant or deny access to the premises, helping create a controlled and convenient visitor entry process.

For vehicle access, the Vehicular Entrance Control supports controlled entry for residents and authorized users. The UHF atgs are used to authenticate vehicles Suprema readers provide reliable access authentication for people.

Following installation, the system was configured and tested to ensure that the solutions worked as intended. The result is a more automated and secure access environment for Palm Valley residents.

Palm Valley now benefits from automated resident access and a more secure visitor management experience. Visitors can call tenants directly from the lobby station, while tenants can grant or deny access from their mobile applications. The access control setup helps reduce unauthorized access, discourage doorstep intrusion, and provide residents with greater convenience and confidence when managing visitors.
